Well, instead of watching a movie tonight, I spent a couple of hours getting to know Bruno here a little better. He is a handsome German Shepard mix and is looking for a forever home here in Winnipeg. This was from one of the shelters own photos, (they got someone over there who can shoot.) I hope to drop the first two off this week, as I think they will finally be dry enough.

Bruno looks like a sweetheart, and this is a beautiful painting, Vern. You have such an amazing knack for getting the spirit of these pups on canvas. Hope his forever family finds him soon.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful job, Vern. Great expression.
ReplyDeleteOh, what a sweet face! I hope bruno will find a wonderful home!
ReplyDeleteAh thanks Liz, I hope so too!
ReplyDeleteThanks Edward, appreciate it.
Akiko, I borrowed your phrase "forever home", hope you don't mind, and thanks.
Thank you Cathyann, he's a great looking pooch.
Oh my goodness....a good heart must be an ingredient for such a lovely and loving portrait. The shelter folks are going to think you're a God send. If you want, print out our blog so they can get some ideas on what to do with your paintings and if they have further questions, my SPCA program develop mgr is willing to talk to them.
ReplyDeleteBruno will be adopted for sure. Those eyes! And those gorgeous markings! Beautymus.
ReplyDeleteThanks very much Sheila, I'll let you know how it goes.
ReplyDeleteCamille, that's my new favorite word, beautymus...laughing here, you crack me up!
Love the dogs Vern, I'm scheduled to do one for our Humane Society also. Hope I will be as successful as you!
